The Paper Bag Competition is an eco-friendly initiative being organized in various schools across Ahmedabad to promote sustainable alternatives to plastic bags. The project actively involves students in making paper bags, encouraging environmental awareness and community participation.
For over a decade, our initiative has been working tirelessly in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar to reduce the dangers posed by harmful kite strings (manjha) during the Uttarayan festival. The drive focuses on awareness, collection, and safe disposal of abandoned threads to protect birds, animals, and humans from injuries and fatalities.
The Trust has started a small but effective saving scheme for college students. We believe that if each student can save even a rupee everyday, this micro saving can create miracles by supporting their classmates who are economically not capable enough to finance their studies. The philosophy behind this scheme is to inculcate savings habit in the students which supports their fellow students. This is ‘of the students, by the students and for the students’.
